Nonviolent Communication

Animisha, an Order Member who lives on the Western Isles, has invited Shantigarbha who is a certified trainer with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to lead a two day foundation training on the Isle of Harris in June.

If you would like further information please see http://seedofpeace.org/?p=1013

Shantigarbha says:

“Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is sometimes referred to as compassionate communication. Its purpose is to strengthen our ability to inspire compassion from others and to respond compassionately to others and to ourselves. NVC guides us to reframe how we express ourselves and hear others by focusing our consciousness on what we are observing, feeling, needing, and requesting.”

If you are interested in the NVC training, you can book either through Animisha  (email: holleymccoy169@btinternet.com ) or via  Shantigarbha's website.

If anyone needs accommodation, the  Scaladale Centre has dorm rooms (hostel style) with self-catering facilities at £15 per night.
